We are back in Illinois with the chance of snow in the forecast! We hunted over a fresh picked corn field tonight and had some pretty good movement. Got pinned down at dark by a 130 class 8 point that will be a great deer next season.
Looking at the forecast, we have a 100% chance of snow tomorrow and a good chance of snow the rest of the week. With this field having a good amount of corn laying around after the combine went through, the colder…the better!
We’ll keep you posted on how things progress here!
Also, we got word that Joe in Iowa got an old mature 8 point down as well! Here is a pic of that deer. Cant wait to see the footage!

Ditto on the hand warmers. I love those and toe warmers this time of year. With the snow you should see deer coming from quite a ways away.
