I was reminded again today of a few things. Number one is I have been blessed with friends and family that are unbeatable. The second is that while bowhunting is filled with chance and sometimes luck persistence will be rewarded without fail. Over the last 24 hours I spent 8+ hours tracking a beatiful mature 8 crawling through CRP, timber, soybeans and wheat right alongside several of my good friends and family. This track can only be described as “Epic” Nearly two miles of tracking blood and tracks! It seemed everytime we would lose blood someone else would step up and find more. I am greatly in debt to Nick, Scott, My Dad, Danny, Todd, Curtis, Brad, Bre, Carl, Tawny,Phil, Tyler, and my behind the scenes workhorse Tracy. Told you the list was long 🙂
Can’t wait to here this full story! I can’t agree with you more on the friends and family. I am especially grateful to know all the guy’s in these pictures and most of the people on that list! I can’t say enough about how great you all are. Congrats again Matt!
Congratulations, Matt! I have an enormous amount of respect for you and all of your friends and family that persevered to recover that buck. Amazing job!
Thanks Mark and Matt! I am very lucky to have the people in my life that I do!
Sounds like a hunt that will be remembered forever. Way to hang in there and not give up.
Nice one!
