We roosted the birds last night and found what field they were using frequently. This morning we thought we were getting set up early but the walk was a little longer than expected. Right as we sat down 4 toms flew into the field. They stood there and gobbled/strutted for about 15 minutes. Then 6 other toms flew down and came strutting into the field. They started to head our way before seeing the other birds and heading off that direction. All 9 strutters followed a couple hens up the hill. We are going back to the same field tonight and in the AM. Hopefully, it will come together because these birds sure are colorful but VERY hard to hunt.
Keep us updated guys, hang in there and hunt hard, best of luck to you guys.
