MH – Look Who Showed Up by Michael Hunsucker | Nov 20, 2007 | History | 3 comments Check out this old brute that showed up AGAIN out of nowhere… 3 Comments michaelhunsucker on November 20, 2007 at 1:07 am Isnt it amazing how these OLD mature deer just show up out of nowhere. We have been watching this 8 for about 3 or 4 years now. He is certainly the most mature deer I have ever hunted. He has to be at least 8.5 years old if not older. I haven’t seen this deer all summer. In fact, the last time I saw him was after the season was over last year on a trail cam photo. I got only TWO pictures of him that summer before that. He certainly isn’t the biggest racked deer (anymore) but he is a deer that I would be truly happy to take. What an illusive beast! Here are some of the pictures I have got of him in the past. Ty actually videoed him three years ago when I believe he was in his prime and 4.5 or 5.5. Look at the body on this dude! Jake Siegel on November 20, 2007 at 5:48 pm The Grey Ghost!!! This guy is just messin’ with you man. My prediction… last day of season, last light, he stands JUST out of range and gives you a look like, ” yeah, I’ll be around next year. Maybe wash your cloths next time!” tyeasley on November 22, 2007 at 4:32 pm That will make a good story once he finally falls to an arrow. By the time we shoot him, he will probably be a spike again. 325lb spike.
