Shawn lives in Missouri with his family, where he has been raised in the outdoors. He can remember his father taking him out to the stand at the young age of 8. He was given his first compound bow when he was eleven and harvested his first buck at thirteen. The outdoors has been a legacy carried on throughout many generations of his family. His grandfather is a retired, federal game warden. His twin brother and father are also avid bowhunters. He started filming his hunts about 4 years ago and has learned a great deal about the art of film. Shawn loves to be in the outdoors, whether it is fishing the ponds on the family property, to calling in a spring tom or rattling in a trophy buck, it is his true passion. He spends a great deal of time scouting in order to have successful hunts. Dedication has been the key factor in his accomplishments as a bowhunter. He is dedicated to the sport he loves and looks forward to upcoming seasons.
